Your files never leave your device

Most online PDF services upload your documents to their servers, process them there and keep them for a while. Helpdf works differently: all 35 tools work directly on your device. Your files are never uploaded, never stored and never seen by us.

No account, no history

There is no sign-up and no file history: nothing about you or your documents is kept.

Strong encryption

Protect PDF uses AES-256 encryption, the standard used by banks and governments. Redaction deletes the hidden content for real: the redacted pages are rebuilt so that the text cannot be recovered.

Secure connection

The whole site is served over a secure, encrypted HTTPS connection.

What we do collect

Anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, tool used, device type) help us improve the service, and advertising partners may use cookies, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We never collect the name or the content of your files.
