Merge PDFs in four steps
- Open Merge PDF.
- Select all your files at once (hold Ctrl or Cmd to pick several), or drag and drop them into the box.
- Put them in the right order with the ↑ and ↓ arrows next to each file.
- Click Merge PDF and download your single document.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are: text stays selectable, links keep working and images are not recompressed. The size of the merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. If it is too large to email, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.
Reorder, rotate or remove pages after merging
Once your document is combined, open it in Organize PDF: every page appears as a thumbnail that you can drag to a new position, rotate or delete. It is the easiest way to put an annex in the right place or remove a blank page that slipped in.
Combine photos and PDFs
If some pieces are photos (a receipt, an ID card), first convert them with JPG to PDF, then add the resulting file to your merge. You will get one clean document.
Good habits for a professional file
- Start with a cover page or a summary that lists the documents.
- Name the final file clearly, for example rental-application-lastname-2026.pdf.
- Check the page orientation before sending: a sideways scan looks careless.
Is it safe to merge confidential documents online?
Most online services upload your files to their servers. Helpdf works differently: the merge happens inside your browser, so bank statements or identity documents never leave your computer or phone.
